How it works
Amazon charges a referral fee as a percentage of the sale price, with a per-item minimum, and the rate depends on the category. FBA adds a fulfillment fee based on size and weight.
We don't fill in an FBA fee for you because we haven't verified Amazon's current fee table. Use the fee Amazon shows for your product. Storage fees, returns and ads are extra.
The formula
- Referral fee = max(price × referral rate, minimum)
- Fees = referral fee + FBA fee + per-item fee
- Profit = price − fees − item cost − inbound shipping − other costs
How to use this calculator
- Enter your selling price.
- Check your category's referral rate on Amazon's pricing page.
- Enter the FBA fee from Amazon's Revenue Calculator.
- Enter your costs.
