How it works

Mercari lists for free and charges a selling fee when the item sells. Buyers pay a separate Buyer Protection fee that does not come out of your payout.

Withdrawal or instant-pay fees aren't included; add them as other costs.

The formula

  • Fees = 10% × (item price + buyer-paid shipping)
  • Profit = price + shipping charged − fees − label − item cost − other costs

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter price and buyer-paid shipping.
  2. Enter your costs.
